The one where Jonny had a send off

The fourth Tandy Cup took place at Beadlow manor, a venue we'd visited a full seven years ago on the sixth Bandito weekend.

From a quick look at the photos from that weekend back in July 2004 I can say it probably hadn't changed that much, actually I’d probably go further and say it hadn't changed at all apart from the fact the loos and changing rooms currently had the builders in. But a Tandy Cup weekend, like any Bandito weekend is all /mostly about the golf and the courses offered a variety of challenges.

The one with the Jager-train

The Banditos came of age as we turned 21 in deepest darkest Suffolk. Although without our beloved leader Johnny it was with disappointment that we realised we wouldn't get to see him in his shorts in the blustery freezing February weather.

The one with the hole in one

The second trip of the Banditos to Manor of Groves produced a historic moment for our fledgling golfing society. One that's been over 7 years coming and frankly didn't look that likely when you consider how many times the nearest the pin has had to be carried over because no one hit the designated green. But more about that later.

The one with a dead pigeon and first time winner

By the time i arrived on Saturday morning at Staverton Park for the 19th Bandito Golf Weekend the Friday practice round had already claimed one victim who was mysteriously absent and taking full advantage of a loop hole in the new roles that exempted him from the turd. For those of us who had made it to the first tee though we stood and applauded our 'Photo Bandito' Garry "The TV and FILMS!" Cowell as he graciously received a much needed pre-filled hip flask for all his hard work in slowing down every round and documenting pretty much every embarrasing moment from the last 4 golf weekends - often in stunning high definition.
